This on is a little different from the traditional 7" unit, in that it turns at a slightly higher rpm. This units truns at 8,500 instead of the usual 6,000 which gives you a much faster and smoother cut. It's also loaded with extras. The unit has a 3 position side hadle, spindle lock for faster disc changes, all ball bearing construction and spiral bevel gears for much smoother gear transfer and durability.
